Purpose | The Love and Good Deeds Crier is a forum where Christians can discuss current topics with the purpose to build each other up in love and be encouraged to action.
| | Welcome to The Love and Good Deeds Crier | Every day we are bombarded with statistics, speculations, and opinions on what is going on in our world today. These include political and social issues, religious movements, hot topics, current events, and trends. Some topics we like to talk about; others we avoid—perhaps because we don´t know where we stand on the issue.
The Love and Good Deeds Crier was created to help Christians form views on current topics through biblical study and dialogue with other believers. Our hope is that these discussions would spring out of a true desire to grow closer to God through mutual encouragement. We also hope that, as you begin to form a biblical view on a certain topic, you let it show through your actions. As James 2:17 says, ¨Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.¨ And again in 1 John 3:18, ¨Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.¨ This is the mark of true transformation.
Remember, this is a forum, meant for discussion. It is okay to disagree with someone, but please respond with grace and love. That is why it is important to study the Bible and ask God for direction as you wrestle with issues that may be difficult to find answers to. None of us have all the answers. We are on this journey together—let´s help one another walk closer with Jesus.
If you would like to see a topic introduced, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for visiting our forum!
